The Legends & Lore Guild
House Pleayashayne
The Legends and Lore Guild is a legendary institution that has existed since the beginning of the Second Age. It is shrouded in mystery, and its exact purpose remains unknown. Some say that it is an organization of assassins, while others believe that it is a secret society of magicians. Still, others maintain that it is nothing more than a myth. One thing is for sure: the Legends and Lore Guild is very real. And its members are some of the most historical and powerful people in Ertha.

What are legends and lore?
Legends and lore are ancient stories told by the people of Ertha, passed down in the form of dicesongs through many generations, spanning back to the first age before the great war. These archives tell tales about a time when advanced and prosperous civilizations had great cities and technology but have since been lost to time. It is believed that these forgotten civilizations existed during the first age, shortly before the great shadowgate war shook the world. Nowadays, these legends and lore are a reminder of what was once a thriving world filled with ancient cultures and forgotten civilizations that were once so advanced and prosperous they could rival today’s modern societies.
What are legends and myths?
Legend and myth are stories passed down through generations, often with a moral or lesson to be learned. Legends and myths are dicesongs of Ertha from the first age and can contain truths, forgotten heroes, forgotten evils, lost cities, forgotten spaces, abandoned places, lost tribes, and ancient songs. Legends and myths can help people make sense of their world by helping them understand why things happen the way they do. They also serve as reminders of our history so that we can learn from our mistakes. Legends and myths have been used for centuries to explain the unexplainable and connect people with their pasts. They are stories that offer hope in times of despair and comfort in times of grief. Legends and myths inspire those facing tough decisions by reminding us that our actions today will shape the future tomorrow.
Are legend and myth the same?
Legends and myths are often confused as being the same, but they are quite different. Legends are nonhistorical or unverifiable stories handed down by tradition from earlier times and popularly accepted as historical. They usually have some basis in facts but may also contain elements of fantasy or exaggeration.
On the other hand, myths are stories passed down through generations that explain the universe and its workings. They often involve gods and goddesses who created the world and established certain rules for humans or other races. Legends and myths play an important role in society as they help explain our history and origins. While legends may be more rooted in real-life events, myths provide us with a deeper understanding of the relationship between the natural and magical worlds.
